FUNDRAISERS of the Capital Detachment

The Capital Detachment is a 501 c(4) with a special exemption of 

IRS code 0955 with a deductibility of 1 so that your donations or support of our raffles are Tax deductible with the IRS

Our Capital Detachment charities that we have donated to are the following organizations and Marines.

• Young Marines of the Marine Corps League
• Department of Michigan Marine Corps League Foundation
• Department of Michigan Marine Corps League scholarship fund
• VFW Home for Children 
• VFW Post #701
• Helped Marine families during Thanksgiving and Christmas with meals.
• Helped local FMF Corpsman veteran with funds to build a ramp to his house.
• Donated money and items to the Grand Rapids Veterans Home in Grand Rapids and the D.J. Jacobetti Veterans Home in Marquette, MI
• Assisted the Local Marine Reserve unit C co 1st Bn 24th Marines with past family days 
• We have assisted Marines and FMF Naval Personnel whether they be Active/Reserve or Veterans  with any hardships that their families may be having
